Industrial Ambrosia Maple Coffee Table

The legs started off as 1950's era angled steel I cleaned up, leaving the natural pitting intact:
This shows the process of ebonizing the wood on the lower shelf of the table. This is the same process and same wood as the table top.  The only difference is that the top was finished in hand-rubbed glossy varnish, but the lower shelf was finished in a semigloss lacquer clearcoat

Industrial Ambrosia Maple Stool With Aluminum Inlay

Industrial Hickory, Cherry, and Tiger Maple Coffee Table

I started by welding up a 1/2" steel box tubing tabletop frame.
 Test fit after jointing and finish sanding the three boards:
 Both have been test fitted:

 First hand-rubbed coat of glossy polyurethane:
 A few more coats:

 The final finish:
 I used reclaimed angled steel for the legs:

Industrial Reclaim Mahogany Coffee Table

This table started as these two reclaimed mahogany planks:
 After sizing and jointing:
 Test-fitting into the custom 1/2" steel box tubing frame:
The natural cracks needed bowtie keys, so I made them out of walnut:

Mahogany Slab Table

This bookmatched Mahogany slab table started out as a natural-edge reclaim plank.
 Bookmatching:
 After jointing and initial sanding:

I made the base out of an old piece of concrete block-making machinery:

 I did welded on some additional supports and sanded off the rust, leaving the pitting, which you can still see after I finished it in black tinted, glossy clearcoat.

 This table now lives in Marietta, Georgia.
