This bookmatched Mahogany slab table started out as a natural-edge reclaim plank.

I made the base out of an old piece of concrete block-making machinery:
I did welded on some additional supports and sanded off the rust, leaving the pitting, which you can still see after I finished it in black tinted, glossy clearcoat.

This table now lives in Marietta, Georgia.
