Industrial Style Bookcase - Mahogany Shelves

The frame for this bookcase was built at the same time as its sister unit, which can be viewed here.

After prepping the metal frame and applying bare metal primer with my HVLP gun.
Reclaim Mahogany boards split, jointed, matched, and glued.
I wanted the top shelf to be smooth finished, but left the others with some original mill marks intact.
After spraying the frame Seafoam Green with oil based paint via HVLP gun.
The center shelf before final finish and trimming.
Completed bookcase on the floor in the shop.
 Final Results:

This bookcase will be in its new home in Alpharetta, Georgia in August of 2014.

Industrial Ambrosia Maple Coffee Table

The legs started off as 1950's era angled steel I cleaned up, leaving the natural pitting intact:
This shows the process of ebonizing the wood on the lower shelf of the table. This is the same process and same wood as the table top.  The only difference is that the top was finished in hand-rubbed glossy varnish, but the lower shelf was finished in a semigloss lacquer clearcoat
